MEDIUM DUTY ROD WIPERS SERIES 50 (INCH SIZES)
Characteristics
ROD WIPERS or EXCLUSION SEALS, prevent the drawing of foreign matter into the
cylinder on the ingoing stroke. Abrasive particles adhering to the rod will cause
rapid wear to the Gland Seal if they are not effectively excluded. The SERIES
50 MEDIUM DUTY ROD WIPER has proven itself over many years of service in a variety
of industrial and farm equipment applications.
It is manufactured from 95A Durometer, liquid cast polyurethane. The exceptional
abrasion resistant qualities of this material ensure over five times the service
life of most rubber wipers.
The cross sectional profile is designed to provide a clean wiping action with
a light preload condition for long life.
Installation of the wipers is just a matter of snapping into a simple groove.

HEAVY DUTY ROD WIPERS SERIES 52 (INCH SIZES)
Characteristics
The 52 Series Wiper/Scraper is designed to remove the more aggressive contaminants
encountered by heavy outdoor machinery such as earth moving equipment.
Its solid cross section profile and heavy duty lip with good interference
on the rod, are its main features.
Combining these characteristics with the proven abrasion resistant qualities
of liquid cast polyurethane, has resulted in a tough durable wiper able to
handle the most severe service conditions.
This wiper is available in full ranges of sizes. It is installed by springing
into a simple groove.
